The YampaValley.info COMMUNITY INFORMATION CENTER PRIVACY POLICY
The YampaValley.info COMMUNITY INFORMATION CENTER (CIC) coordinators and LIAA (the creator of the YampaValley.info CIC software) are committed to honoring privacy rights for participants using the YampaValley.info CIC. The Registration Data and certain other information about you are subject to the YampaValley.info CIC Privacy Policy. The YampaValley.info CIC coordinators and/or LIAA DO NOT SELL, TRADE, EXCHANGE OR OTHERWISE MAKE AVAILABLE ANY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL, COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION. Periodically, we use the information you have provided in the Registration Data to send you notification you request about changes and updates in the YampaValley.info CIC, and various other YampaValley.info CIC site related notifications.
The YampaValley.info CIC may contain links to other sites. The YampaValley.info CIC is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. Also, see the terms of the User Agreement, Paragraph entitled “LINKS” (par 10).
The YampaValley.info CIC has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under its control.
The YampaValley.info CIC website gives participants three options for changing and modifying information that they provide in their Registration Data:
1. Users can log in with their email address and password to change any information in their profile.
2. In case of lost password, users can use the ‘forgotten password’ feature to send an email to the Site Manager, who will reply with a new password. When the participant logs in with their new password, they will be directed to their User Profile where they can change their password to one of their choice.
3. You may also cancel your registration by contacting the Site Manager using the information provided below.
This site uses “session” Cookies to identify your user account while you are logged-in to the site. Cookies must be turned on in your browser to participate in this project Community Information Center website. No personal information is stored in these Cookies, which are only used to identify your session to the web server. The Cookies are destroyed when you close your browser session. Note that you will be automatically logged out of the system after 20 minutes of inactivity.
This site will at no time scan or otherwise try to read any other cookies stored on your computer system. Note that this site allows links on its pages to other web sites that are not under our control which may have other policies regarding cookies.
