PAM
The RCCD sells PAM (Tack-Dry), a soil stabilizing polymer used in ponds and ditches for prevention of seepage. We sell PAM in 2 pound increments. Please let us know of your interest in this product with plenty of warning before you would like to apply it as we may need to order more. The amount needed per project depends on your soil type (approx amount is 12-15 lbs per acre) so please call our office for more information.
PAM is a chemical, therefore RCCD recommends the use of protective equipment like rubber gloves, eye mask and face mask when using this product. The product comes as a dry powder but when mixed with water turns into a snot like consistency that can be difficult to remove from skin and clothes. Fact sheets and MSDS information is available at our office.
