Ibrahima (Ibou) NGom is a native of Senegal, West Africa, and has been a resident of Santa Cruz, Ca., for the past six years. Born into a Griot family of traditional musicians, he has been carrying on his family musical lineage since childhood. Ibou facilitates community drumming and dancing with adults and students of all ages. Ibou has toured and performed internationally with two prominent Senegalese Ballet Companies as Master Drummer with the 2nd National Ballet du Senegal, and Ballet Sinemew.
