In 1913, Charlotte Perry and Portia Mansfield fulfilled their dreams of creating a theatre and dance camp in the mountains. Now, over ninety years later, Perry-Mansfield is recognized as the oldest continuously operating performing arts school and camp in the nation.
Summer camp programs in dance, theatre, musical theatre, dramatic writing and equestrian for age 8 through college:
- One-Week Discovery Camps for ages 8-10
- One-Week Equestrian Camps for ages 10-16
- Four-Week Junior & Intermediate Camps for students entering grades 5-9
- Six-Week High School & College Intensive for students entering grade 10 through college
- Ten-Day New Noises Studio workshop for young playwrights entering grade 10 through college
- One-Week P-M in the UK study abroad program for students entering grade 10 through college
A variety of adult master workshop programs are also offered.
Students and faculty perform in a number of theatre, dance, and musical theatre presentations each summer that are open to the public.
