Sexual harassment is against the law!

Examples of Sexual Harassment in Schools:

• Touching, pinching and grabbing body parts
• Being cornered
• Sending sexual notes or pictures
• Writing sexual graffiti
• Making suggestive or sexual gestures, looks, jokes or verbal comments (including "mooing," "barking" and other noises)
• Spreading sexual rumors or making sexual propositions
• Pulling somone's clothes off
• Pulling off your own clothing
• Being forced to kiss someone or do something sexual
• Attempted rape
• Rape

Example: Adam and Travis thought it would be funny to tease Mariah. Travis reached out and snapped the back of her bra. Both guys laughed out loud. Mariah felt angry and embarrassed. 

What can I do?

• Let the harasser know you don't like the behavior or comments.
• Tell somone and keep telling until you find someone who listens.
• Do NOT blame yourself.
• Find the offical person who has been designated by your school to talk to.
