Mission Statement

"The Historical Society of Oak Creek & Phippsburg / Tracks and Trails Museum is committed to collect, preserve, protect, interpret, impart and celebrate the history of the Oak Creek, Phippsburg, and Stagecoach areas; to strengthen the bond of our communities; and to develop and foster a greater understanding of and an appreciation for our cultural, economic, scientific, artistic, genealogical, and historical hertitage."

Purpose Statement

"As stated in Article III -- Purposed of the Certificate of Incorporation, Historical Society of Oak Creek & Phippsburg By Laws, the Tracks and Trails Museum is a nonprofit corporation and educational institution. The Museum promotes local/regional history through exhibition, classes and the preservation of objects, documents and historic structures.  The Museum shall collect, preserve, exhibit artifacts and documents which relate to the material culture of Oak Creek, Phippsburg and the Stagecoach areas of Colorado."
