“I Never Looked Back” The Buddy Werner Story (produced by John and Joe Dee in 1997) tells the story of Steamboat Springs native and three-time Olympian Buddy Werner. Before his untimely avalanche death in 1964, Werner became the first American to win major world competitions, including the prestigious Holmenkollen. The film includes historic ski competition footage and interviews with Werner himself.
