Raise the Roof on 8th & Oak Capital Campaign

For over a half of century, the Tread of Pioneer Museum has served as the repository for Routt County and Steamboat Springs’ historical artifacts and cultural heritage. We collect, preserve, interpret, and exhibit our heritage and history, here in the Yampa Valley.

The Tread of Pioneer Museum has outgrown its current space and ability to serve its visitors and honor its contributors. We are now conducting a capital campaign to build a $1,000,000 facility to include additional display space and an environmentally controlled collections building. We presently have $700,000 in our building fund and need an additional $300,000 to complete the project which will break ground in the spring of 2012.
It is our hope that you would contribute towards this worthy project. We would be happy to meet and make a presentation or if you would like, to give you a tour of our facility.
