PROMOTING OFF-LEASH AREAS IN STEAMBOAT SPRINGS.RDOGS will investigate the feasibility of designating or developing dog off-leash areas and/or dog parks in the Steamboat Springs area, provide thoughtful recommendations regarding the establishment of these areas, and shepherd these recommendations through the public approval process. RDOGS will also work hard to educate citizens and visitors about the elements of responsible dog ownership. In performing its work, RDOGS will encourage the participation of other public user groups, and recognize the need for policies that meet the goals of the community as a whole.
