CONGREGATE MEALS
There are three Nutrition Centers in Routt County, each serving on a different schedule. Meal reservations for all sites are preferred two days ahead of time to allow our cooks to have adequate food prepared for meals. The recommended contribution for meals is $3.00 for persons 60 and older. Those under 60 must pay a fee of $6.00.

HOME DELIVERED MEALS
Our home-delivered meal program provides hot, delicious, low-cost, nutritional meals to seniors. The service is offered the same days as the Congregate meals in the respective areas. The recommended contribution for meals is $3.00 for persons 60 and older. Those under 60 must pay a fee of $6.00.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with delivery. Call 879-0633 if you'd like a meal delivered or if you could volunteer.

 

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is available in Hayden, Steamboat and South Routt.  We'll take you to and from meal sites, medical appointments, shopping, the bank, and other necessary errands.  For transportation call Routt County Council on Aging at 879-0633.

MEDICARE COUNSELING
Betsy Packer, our SHIP Medicare Counselor, is here to help you navigate issues regarding Medicare, Medicare supplement insurance (Medigap), Medicare HMO's, Medicaid assistance for people on Medicare, and long-term care insurance.  You can schedule an appointment with Betsy by calling 970-879-0633, or toll-free at 1-888-696-7213.  Betsy can also be reached by email at: medicarecounselor@rccoaging.org.

FOOT CARE CLINIC 
Aging Well's Senior Foot Care Program includes toenail trimming, filing, foot massage and referral for those with ongoing needs. The clinic is held on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. For an appointment, call Peggy at 875-1884. There is no fee for footcare.

In South Routt the clinic is held on the 2nd Monday of the month at the South Routt Community Center in Oak Creek. Call 871-7680 for an appointment.

Senior Foot Care in Hayden is held at The Haven every Wednesday from 2-4. Call Peggy at 875-1884 for and appointment.

 

 

MONDAY SPEAKER SERIES
Join us each Monday at 12:45 at the Steamboat Springs Community Center for our Monday Speaker Series.  You'll enjoy a wide variety of programming from community leaders, local historians and performers.
