Easy Guide to What You Can Recycle
Single Stream Recycling is available in Routt County.
This means that no sorting is required!

The following items can be recycled curbside, at Waste Management Drop Off Center, or in the Green Machine:

Aluminum Cans
Glass- all colors, rinse, labels OK.
Plastics- #1 through # 7's, please remove lids/caps, pesticide/motor oil containers, plastic bags/wrap or toys are NOT accepted.
Aluminum, Steel & Tin- rinse cans, labels OK, put lids in can, tin foil wrap and pans are accepted.
Newspaper- do not tie or bundle.
Magazines- including catalogs with stapled bindings and phone books.
Office paper/junk mail- no neon colors.
Paperboard- e.g., pizza,cereal and noddle boxes (No waxy milk or juice cartons).
Cardboard- please flatten.

Reminder: Please DO NOT put plastic shopping bags in with recyclables!
