The document below, "Contractors Guide to Recycling", provides recycling and waste prevention information for all builders, from the handyman to large commercial contractors. It is your handbook for saving money and resources by recycling and preventing waste on the job-site. This guide was developed as a joint effort by Yampa Valley Recycles, TCD, Inc., City of Steamboat Springs, Routt County, and Twin Landfill, Inc.
This guide should be used with the Yampa Valley Recycling Directory, a comprehensive listing of material recyclers in Routt County as well as the manufacturers and distributors of environmental building/recycled content products. (Appendix A & B) Yampa Valley Recycles Hotline is (970) 870-7575.
