Crossan’s Store is located on the northeast corner of 1st and Main Street. It was first owned by Canants. Later it became the city meat market run by Laughlin and Bird. Crossan’s owned the store from 1936 to 1964. Bob Crossan was son of George Crossan a pioneer.

The Crossan, Montgomery & Allen building is a large two story structure with a boardwalk over hang. It has show case windows to display the foods and goods found inside. It is wooden building that was painted white with black trim. Its store sign, which can still be seen to this day, displays the name Crossan, M&A Groceries.
