Students will have a resource for research and more in-depth investigation of Humanities subjects. The opportunity for cross discipline instruction and dialogue will provide a unique learning experience for students and faculty. The Web site will provide a place for student portfolio work that can be used solely by the student or for instruction with permission by the student. Use of the Web site will benefit both instructors and students. Training would be provided after the Web site is developed so that faculty and students can contribute. The site will be organic in that it will constantly be growing because of the interactive nature of the contributions from faculty and students. The use of The Humanities Web Site will strengthen student and faculty skills in Communications, Critical Thinking, Technological Development and Access, Learning, Reading, Research, Problem Solving, and Aesthetic Awareness.
