Brief Biography:
Elliott was 2 years old when his family moved to Steamboat from Kansas. He and his brother Jere became all around ski competitors. Jon competed in both Alpine and Nordic events at the Junior Nationals. In 1959 he entered National Competitions.

Jon received degrees in math and statistics from the University of Wyoming. In 1983, Jon started Elliott and Associates in Columbia Falls, Montana. It is the only consulting firm in the U.S. specializing in Nordic tour design, layout and construction. He also manufactures cross-country track sleds. Jon is married with 2 children.
