Brief Biography: Weber started skiing at the age of three and jumping when he was six. “When you’re living in Ski Town, USA, you’re born and raised with skis on your feet,” he says. Weber says he was “one of those crazy kids that liked to go fast and go off the jumps” and his parents thought he would outgrow the interest. Instead he went on to compete and set a hill record when he was 13 in St. Petersburg, Russia and became one of the most dominant jumpers in the U.S. by 1992. Weber won both the J-I and J-II 90 meter Junior Olympics in 1992. At the age of 16, he was one of the youngest competitors at the 1994 Olympics games. He took three World Cup top 25 finishes during the 1996 season, including a sixth at Predazzo, Italy.
