Telephone Communication

Qwest is the only provider of local telephone service to Routt County. To order new residential service, or to change or disconnect service for Qwest call 1-800-244-1111 or go to Qwest.com. Business Phone Service can be acquired by calling 800-603-6000. When requesting service you should have the following information:
1. The complete address where you want your telephone service to be established.
2. Basic credit information.
3. The products and services you wish to order. This includes selecting your long distance carrier of choice, your directory listing, and the number of phone lines and jacks you would like to order.
4. The date you wish to begin your new telephone service.
5. The name and contact information of a relative or friend through whom Qwest may contact you during your transition period.
