Over the course of the last several years, Library staff and board members have visited close to 30 libraries in an effort to develop an overall sense of what would be desired in the new Bud Werner Memorial Library. A sense of well being and an abundance of natural light, are sought to make the Library spaces cozy and intimate with a strong sense of civic artfulness.

Warm colors with refreshing accents, natural wood and a craftsman or bungalow style are proposed in an effort to create a community library that will provide a timeless and inspiring space of beauty, harmony, balance and integrity.
