The Yampa Valley has a number of beautiful golf courses. One of the greatest things with a high altitude course is the distance you can hit the ball!

Wildlife Watch is a fun wildlife viewing skills workshop designed by the Watchable Wildlife department of the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Public workshops are held regularly at various sites statewide, and can be specifically arranged for groups such as businesses, environmental organizations, seniors, government agencies, and schools.

Wildlife Watch, at four to eight hours in length, is packed with dynamic presentations and informative, hands-on activities.

The Steamboat Ski Area as well as many ski resorts across Colorado and the country offer discount ski tickets for Seniors 65 and over. Often times age 70 and over will ski for free. Season passes are offered at a minimal cost.
