Every year during Be Kind to Animals Week the Animal Assistance League sponsors a story contest. Children from Kindergarden to 6th grade write stories about how they have been kind to animals. Each child receives an education packet and prizes with grand prize winners in each age group.

We are sponsoring twenty-four classrooms of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders with a monthly publication on animal kindness and education. The magazine has activities and discussions suitable for these age groups.
