Getting around Steamboat is easy! The City of Steamboat Springs provides free buses between the ski area, downtown and most hotel, condominium, restaurant, grocery and entertainment locations. The ski area is located 3 miles southeast of downtown Steamboat Springs. Steamboat Springs Transit (SST) runs 7:00 am until 1:45 am daily during peak seasons. There are also five national carriers that fly into Yampa Valley Regional Airport or private aircraft can fly into the Steamboat Airport.
