Routt County 4-H has exchanged with other states for years. In the past Routt County 4-H youth have lived with other 4-H families from Vermont, Washington, Louisiana, Florida, Arkansas, New York, and other states. Youth earn the opportunity to learn about the cultures, history and ways of life from other areas of our nation. In 2007 the Routt County Exchange group will travel to Santa Clara County in California. When Routt County hosts Santa Clara County some of the activities might include rafting the Colorado River, visit our ski industry, swim in the hot springs, and learn about Routt County Agriculture. Youth must be 14-18 years of age to participate.
