Halloween Stroll
Every Halloween since 1962 Main Street in Steamboat Springs has closed down and creepy goblins and fairy princesses take over. Fifth to 10th street close down from 4:30 to 7:30, and the Downtown Business Association's Halloween Stroll takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Children trick-or-treat at local businesses. Adults are invited to dress up and walk through downtown; however, trick-or-treating is for children only. It’s a safe way for children to trick-or-treat, and adults get to socialize, while they pick sweet treats out of their children’s bag. Spooks from young to old carrouse the Streets of downtown Steamboat every October 31st since 1962. [Click here to view full size picture]
