This is an old but recently refurbished ranch that I pass on the way to town everyday. I have always wondered about its story, I have no idea when it was first built or who lives there or how it is doing in today's sagging agricultural market. I know that it has a story that is rich with historical facts and that special western theme of adventure. This is one of the few symbols of the old times of Steamboat that I see regularly, and it reminds me that this was once a farming and ranching community that thrived on the business of agriculture. I hope that it continues to survive so I can show it to my kids as an example of my western heritage.
